The MAX Data Collection Monitor provides an interface to MAX for processing transactions, requesting documents and labels, and adding kanban requests, and is designed for quick scanned entry from a variety of client devices including wireless hand-helds.

The MAX Data Collection Monitor supports all of the MAX Transactions and can be configured to incorporate specific process elements into the transaction processing such as label printing and email alerts.

The base software provides a platform for communicating to client devices and making calls to MAX.  Screens can be configured to accomplish a variety of special tasks along with the standard MAX transactions. 

The MAX data Collection Monitor can be installed on the MAX server or any PC connected to the network. The monitor software is installed once and functions as server to the client devices which can be a mix of windows or non-windows hand-helds, PC’s, and thin client devices.

MAX Data Collection MDCM 2012 Build 5 - MAX v5.5 (Beta)
  • All MDCM tables are now in MAX database and can be copied from company to company.
  • All calls to MAX are made using the XML interface
  • New on the fly refresh option for parameter and screen changes
  • There is a Data Conversion utility to convert MDCMPARAMS.MDB (Screens) and extMDCM,MDB (Triggers) included as an option in installer.

  • This version uses a 100 character MAX User to post transactions and should only be used after applying hot fix 1 to MAX 5.0.6
MAX Data Collection ERMDCM 2008.0 Build 71 (prior to MAX 5.0.6 with HotFix1) - MAX v5.x
  • MAX (SQL Server) Data Collection Monitor  - currently the easiest method for installing ERMDCM is to also install the MAX 5.x client on the same machine and add a search path to the \EFW folder so that all of the required function libraries are found.
